The second fuse, the firing pin safety, prevents the firing pin from moving forward and preparing to fire. When the trigger is pulled back, the trigger raises the firing pin safety and releases the firing pin. If you decide not to fire and release the trigger, the firing pin safety resets.
The final safety includes a trigger lever, which rests on a safety catch inside the trigger guard. The trigger engages the rear of the firing pin and prevents the firing pin from moving forward. When the trigger is pulled back, the trigger moves down the safety rail and allows the firing pin to be released. After firing, the trigger slide moves up and re-engages the firing pin. When the trigger is released, all fuses reset.

Before moving the gun to the holster, pause to make sure your finger is on the slide or frame and away from the trigger. Clean the holster if necessary and check the holster for obstructions. Stand or lean so that the muzzle does not cover the lower body when the gun is in the holster. Then, slowly and deliberately, return the gun to the holster.

This is a small part of Glock pistols that replaces the cover on the back of the slide. If you shoot the gun regularly, it doesn't change anything about how the Glock works; and a sliding cover that tilts outward when you press the trigger. I have never had any problems with what I have used. But more importantly, I know many dedicated Glock shooters who have put tens of thousands of rounds into Glocks equipped with Striker Control Devices. Some of them were beta testers who have been using these products for five years or more. I don't know of any Glocks that have a problem with that. I'm sure it's possible, but I think most of the reliability issues are speculation. Perhaps it would help others to reduce their doubts if they had a better understanding of how this device works.
